In a few days I will turn 75 years young! Where did the time go especially since my mind says I’m getting younger, not older. In fact, my mind and heart tell me I’m somewhere between 30 and 35. My secret is not really a secret—many people have discovered how to age gracefully and feel younger. Let me share what I believe has helped me the most.

You see, a number of years ago, I grew weary of traveling all over the U.S. and internationally. So much so, that I gave up the institute I created and decided to “retire” to an easier life. Only once I got it, I realized that I was not ready for 4pm cocktails by the pool. I felt I still had lots of life to share and I wondered what it would be like to have a partner in life. I soon found out when I met my husband to be—Rich. Relationships is a key to staying younger. Since we met, I have been on several cruises, gone zip-lining and cave tubing in Honduras, white water rafting in Colorado, mountain climbing, sailing, swimming with the dolphins, getting lost in the desert in Utah, climbing down mountain faces to waterfalls in S.C., and climbing up running creeks to a waterfall in Jamaica, and plenty of other adventures that people our “ages” usually don’t do. I haven’t tried sky diving or bungee jumping yet, but there is plenty of time for that. Plus, we walk several miles 4-5 times a week and I work in our gardens clearing the land and planting vegetables and flowers.

My second secret is eating a nutritious diet and supplementing with key vitamins, minerals, enzymes, polyphenols, prebiotics, and probiotics. What is my source? Actually, I use 3 sources. Primarily Young Living supplements, but also some digestive aids from Dr. Gundry MD, and Dr. Amy Lee MD. (You can look them up on the internet). Plus, you probably have guess it—I use Young Living essential oils every day!

My third secret is to keep my mind active and alert. I write and create just about every day. Plus, I love to coach others. Now that I’m a newly certified dreambuilder and life mastery coach, I work with clients several hours every day helping them to vision the life they truly would love living.

You see, life doesn’t have to be a downslide as we age. We can stay fit and healthy at any age and we can keep our minds active and creative. Becoming a couch potato is a choice—so is choosing an active lifestyle full of excitement and fun. I choose the latter!
