Here we are in the second wave of this pandemic. As health officials tell us, the “calvary” are on their way but we have to continue “fighting” until they arrive with their COVID-19 vaccine.

OK, what can we do with what we have from where we are! Yes—we have to have our wits about us, and use what we have—our essential oils and healthy supplements like vitamins C and D. And—we have each other, if only virtually. There is very little reason to go out except if you have to go to the grocery, even then some, depending on where they live, can have their food delivered to their doorstep. Others can simply order and pick up at the store.

As for Christmas gifts—we have the ability to order online and even have them wrapped and delivered to our loved ones. Yes, I know, part of the joy of Christmas is purchasing gifts for our loved ones, wrapping them and then seeing them unwrap their presents. But this year is different. We are sending love and care to our loved ones by not seeing them in person. That way, we can count on seeing them next year or when they call this pandemic over.

So, what oils can help us weather this month of cold in the Northern Hemisphere and heat in the Southern Hemisphere? For the cold months, consider the tree oils like pine, spruce, balsam, and frankincense. They are not only grounding and anchoring but are also inspiring, refreshing, and will facilitate easier breathing. Don’t forget to clean with Thieves™ products—bathrooms, kitchens and really the whole house including the doorknobs. Another great oil to clean with is Purification™. I also find diffusing with the spice oils to be uplifting—Christmas Spirit™ being my most favorite, but also creating my own blend of orange, cinnamon and nutmeg. And, if you are lucky enough to a bottle of Evergreen Essence™ that is my all-time favorite oil blend to diffuse. Be creative if you are going to blend your own diffuser blend—just don’t try to mix too many oils. For those down under in Australia, the citrus oils can be very refreshing since you are in summer now. I love the fragrance of diffusing R.C. and even Eucalyptus globulus or radiata if you have it.

I know many of you already know these essential oils and use them regularly—so this is just a friendly reminder. Don’t forget the power of your supplements especially your Vitamins C and D. They are extremely important!
