Yuck! The fall moisture or in some places—the flood waters—have caused black and green mold everywhere—what can I do?
Many years ago, an environmental scientist by the name of Dr. Ed Close PhD noticed that the patio stones that his wife had treated with Thieves™ essential oil did not grow mold whereas the untreated stones did. At the time, he worked for an agency that approved houses and apartments for mold levels. There was an apartment complex that was new but he was going to condemn it because of the high mold levels even after traditional methods of mold remediation. The owner asked him if he knew of any thing that could save his investment. To make a long story short, he recommended diffusing Thieves™ essential oil in every room of the apartment complex. Look at its ingredients—the answer is right there. Clove is antifungal and a strong antiseptic. Lemon is antiseptic. Cinnamon Bark is a powerful purifier, antifungal and antiseptic. Eucalyptus radiata is antiseptic, and Rosemary cineol is antiseptic. This formula was created nearly 30 years ago by Gary Young based on a story he found in the archives at the museum of Marseille, France. It’s called the “4 Thieves Vinegar”. This true story was recorded for posterity and should we ever need to face down the plague again—the four thieves found an answer. Well we may not need it for the plague right now, but clearly there are thousands who can testify as to its effects on mold.
Several years ago, I had an IT guy who managed our many computers at my office. He was often sick and told me one day that his children were also often sick. I began inquiring and discovered that he had signs of mold in his bathrooms and throughout his home. He related that recently his waterbed sprang a small leak and when he drained it he found black mold on the underside. Alarmed at this, I told him how mold can affect one’s health. He took it upon himself to tear his bathroom wall apart and behind the tiles around the tub, he discovered the rafters were covered in mold. Needless to say, he signed up in Young Living, purchased about 10 bottles of Thieves™ essential oils and got a high pressure hose and sprayed the mold—it immediately turned bright orange—a sign that the mold was killed. He was able to remediate the mold from his house and miraculously, his health improved and that of his children.
