In a few days we will be celebrating Thanksgiving—a day to celebrate the harvest of fruits of our labors whether that be things we grew or work we accomplished and the lives we have improved. I have much to give thanks for this year. A deepening love with my husband, a pilgrimage to Israel with our friend and mentor, Mary Morrissey, loving friends and family, the formation of our new joint business of Transformational Wellness Services, the Young Living convention and opportunity to be at the farm in Mona, UT, vacation in Colorado, deepening of my work with Life Soulutions, certification as a DreamBuilder Coach and Life Mastery Consultant, and the beautification of our land and home on Lake Hartwell here in South Carolina. All this plus starting my formal coaching program. It has been a busy and fruitful year!

I recall as a child taking a few minutes to go off by myself at our house on Thanksgiving Day to just tell God how grateful I was for all the things that had happened in my life over the past year. The smell of turkey roasting in the oven, and the cold temperatures outside would frost the windows as I found my quiet spot away from the hubbub of cooking in the kitchen.

I would express my gratitude and tell God about my family, my friends, my teachers, and any special event that I could recall over the year. It was important to me to speak that thanks from my heart. I still recall writing with my finger on the frosted windows as I drew a heart and spoke my prayer.

So, take a few moments on this very special day of thanksgiving, and call to mind your own prayer of thankfulness. Choose to recall the good things and if you find that difficult, recall the good in those challenging moments in your life. The more we raise our thoughts to the good things in life, the more we raise our vibrational frequency and the Universe will actually match that frequency.

Have a beautiful Day of Thankfulness.
